You can find our latest Annual Report and our 2019 accounts here. When the lock down lifts, we will get some printed copies made up for anyone who would like one. Watch this space!
We were really sad not to have been able to set off on the first of our four planned Kiltwalks in Glasgow today. But thanks to our donors’ generosity and the 100% matched donation from
The Hunter Foundation we have already received the fundraising money that we will use to support vulnerable children and families in Kenya through this terrible time. We can’t wait for the rescheduled event!
If you want to join us, you can still sign up for the Aberdeen walk and collect sponsorship that we can use now.

Join us for the first ONLINE Kipawa Quiz night on Friday 24th April at 7.30pm.
We will be using Zoom to host the quiz and your team can be made up of people in different locations (we will group you together in Zoom).
If you would like to enter a team, please email email@example.com. If you would like to join in but you do not have a team then you are more than welcome to join solo or we can group you with others into a team.
Looking forward to seeing you next week.
At this really difficult time in the world, the most vulnerable people will be the hardest hit. The schools in Kenya are closed making it really difficult to reach the children we usually feed and support in school every day. Many of our big fundraising opportunities (the London Marathon, the Kiltwalk etc) are being cancelled or postponed too making it harder for us to raise much-needed funds.
The Glasgow Kiltwalk team recognises this problem and has agreed to pay out all the sponsorship raised by the end of March PLUS THE 50% BONUS from the Hunter Foundation, before the walk takes place, hopefully later in the year! So please sponsor the Kipawa Kiltwalkers now if you can!
Let the children and families in Ruiru know we’ve not forgotten them.
Kenyan schools have all closed and the children we help need your help now, more than ever. Please help them if you can.
Join us in Glasgow on 26th April for the first of this year’s Kiltwalks for Kipawa. There are walks of different lengths, from a 6 mile ‘Wee Wander’ to the 23 mile ‘Might Stride’ - so there is something to suit kids and adults, the fit and not-so-fit!
When you sign up, don’t forget to include ‘Kipawa Trust International’ as the charity you are supporting and we will get an unbelievable 50% EXTRA cash from the Kiltwalk, on top of the money you raise!
If you can’t join us in Glasgow, there are walks coming up in Dundee, Edinburgh and Aberdeen later in the year so everyone can take part!
Lovely coffee morning this morning! Thanks to everyone who donated delicious cakes (especially Kcakes) and raffle prizes (esp NB Dogs Shop) and to Nicola who showcased her gorgeous Arbonne products (and will donate all her commission to Kipawa!). If you need any Christmas present ideas, please take a look at her site.
And of course thanks to all the people who came along and gave so generously.
Thank you so much to Gullane Flower Club for having our trustee, Clare, along to their demonstration last night to talk about Kipawa’s work and to sell our lovely Christmas cards. We really appreciate the generous support. And she loved seeing the beautiful finished flower arrangements!
