Thanks very much to everyone who came along to the Kipawa Comedy Fundraiser last night. We are counting up the money raised but it seems your support has raised in excess of £800 for Kipawa - a really fabulous amount of money that will be put to great use in our projects in Kenya.

Our MC Tom Webb has two shows –
Megadudes Crime Club, on at 17:30 every day until 23rd August
Megagames with Tom Webb, on at 21:45 every day until 23rd August
Jessica Fostekew: Jessanory on at 14:25 most days until 24th August
Joe Wells – Night of the Living Tories is on at 12:00 every day until 23rd August
Carey Marx : Abominable is on at 19:15 every night until 23rd August
Stephen Carlin, who some of you will have seen perform for us last year, did not perform last night but was responsible for organising all the other acts, and also has a show on every day at 18:00 until 23rd August
We are delighted to confirm that Carey Marx and Joe Wells are lined up to appear for Kipawa at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe on 11th August. More acts will be confirmed shortly - watch this space!

The Fourth Kipawa Comedy Night at the Gilded Balloon will bring together some of the festival's best stand-up comedians, including friend-of-Kipawa, Stephen Carlin (left) to keep you entertained and raise much-needed funds for ourMukuya school.
Tickets are £12 each and proceeds go directly to helping the children and families Kipawa supports in Kenya. Get your tickets from the Gilded Balloon box office soon!

Thanks to all who came along to support Kipawa, we managed to raise a fantastic £1,772.64. This money will be put to good use helping the children of Mukuya school in Kenya.
Fresh from his success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, "Gambling Man" and friend of Kipawa, Stephen Carlin, will perform again to raise funds for Kipawa, this time in London.
Doors will open for the evening at The Bedford pub in Balham at 6.30pm. Tickets are £15, including food.

Particular thanks to Stephen Carlin for organising the event, the artists for donating their time and skills and to the Gilded Balloon for providing the venue. Tickets sales and donations given after the show amounted to over £1000 for Kipawa, all of which will go to help the children at Ruiru school in Kenya.
