The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London, shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on a similar route.
Previous participants for Kipawa have described the ride as exhilarating - if exhausting!
Kipawa has 4 places available on a first come, first served basis. Participants must commit to raising at least £700 in sponsorship for Kipawa.
Please contact us if you would like to take part or have any questions. And spread the word among your cycling friends!
We're delighted to have four places available in this year's fabulous RideLondon-Surrey100. The ride starts in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through London and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved.
If you're looking for a physical challenge and an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for Kipawa, then get in touch at email@example.com as soon as possible - the places are likely to go fast!
Go to the Prudential RideLondon site for more details on the event and the route.
ONLY ONE PLACE REMAINING!! - Ride London-Surrey cycling event in aid of Kipawa - Registration deadline 9th May 2014
Please help us fill our last place for the unique Ride London event on the 10th August. Last year's riders raised over £3,000 from this event and also had a 'once in a lifetime experience' in the process.
Sadly one of our riders is now not able to take part so at very short notice we are trying to recruit someone to ride and at least cover the £250 cost of the place.
The deadline to register is THIS FRIDAY 9TH MAY!
The official event website and logistics of the route are at www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk and the rider would be entering the 100 mile event which follows the Olympic route from Surrey to London ending at Buckingham Palace. They must be able to complete this in under 9 hours.
Unlike other charities we don't charge our riders a fee for the place but as its short notice we are looking for them to target raising at least £250 sponsorship to cover our costs. It's now pretty simple to set up a fundraising page and do it all on line so all you would need to do is publicise the link. If you require any background on the charity please look through the website or contact us here with any questions.
We still have two spaces available for the the Ride London-Surrey 100 on 10th August 2014. Please get in touch if you or anyone you know would be interested in taking on this challenge and raising funds for Kipawa.
